"Life of Christ" Heirloom Ceramic Ornament
This is a single 3.25 x 2.25" heirloom ceramic ornament of my original ink drawing "Life of Christ".
*Please note, my "Life of Christ" drawing is highly detailed. The original drawing is roughly 30x30" in size, and so shrinking the piece down to several inches has been a difficult process. The details on the ornament are very fine and have a painted appearance.
Each ornament will come with a description card to help viewers identify the various scenes of Christ's Life.
Artist Statement
In 2019, I ventured through one of the hardest times in my life; sorting through pain, confusion, & grief, my closeness to God & Christ began to fade.
I diligently spent hours drawing this piece; studying the moments in Jesus' life, deciding how I'd capture His story in a meaningful & sacred way.
I started with the Savior's face, carefully drawing it one dot at a time.
When I finished, I had the most sacred experience. I had always believed in Christ; however, I did not know Him.
As I gazed upon my finished drawing, I knew. I knew Christ as a person. He was no longer a bible story to me. He, was, real.
I pray this ornament will bring you closer to Christ & fill your heart with hope & peace.
