Artist Statement
This is a detailed print of my original ink drawing, "His Hand Extendeth".
Carefully created with thousands of dots, this piece serves as a humble reminder of the infinite and eternal love our Savior has for each and every one of us. Symbolic in its depiction, this hand represents Christ's extended hand of help and love. His hand extendeth always.
At times, I feel it is so easy for us to feel we are unworthy of the Savior’s love: too broken, too unclean, too flawed, to ask – let alone deserve – His love. Yet, if love is dependent upon us “being” enough, is it really love? No. True, Christ-like love is unconditional, meaning that love does not depend on a condition. Rather, it takes us in ANY condition. What a wonder, an awe His love truly is.
