"I will not leave you comfortless" Print

This is a detailed print of my original piece, "I will not leave you comfortless". 

I adore quilts. I admire what they symbolize and the love that goes into their creation. Pieces and pieces of fabric meticulously stitched together by skilled hands and full hearts. Scraps are given new life, and dreamt-up patterns take shape.

 My grandmother had a deep sense of adoration for quilts, and when I’d wrap myself up in them at her home a wave of love and comfort would envelop me. Calmness and tranquility were woven into the fabric.

 Decades of memories were made around those quilts, and though she is gone now, I can still feel close to her when I see that familiar fabric and touch its weathered material.

I think Christ is like the quiltmaker in a lot of ways. He takes old and makes it new, lost and distressed, and makes it whole. Though we may not see Him, we can feel His love and comfort about us as we see His mighty, meticulous works.

Print is printed on beautiful 300gsm matte 100% cotton rag paper. 5x7", 8x10", and 11x14" prints are packaged in a clear sleeve and mailed in a stay-flat mailer. 16x20" prints are packaged in a clear sleeve and mailed in a shipping tube.

This item is unframed. 

All prints are mailed 1-3 business days from the date ordered.
