"The Veil" - Print Sketch Version
At a young age, my mother taught me about this interesting concept. She told me I once had a life before this one. When I questioned her why I couldn’t remember my previous life, she told me a veil was in place, preventing my mind from remembering my former existence.
At times in my life, the Veil has thinned & I have felt Heaven about me. Glimpses, thoughts, & feelings have moved my soul as I recollected wisps of my former life.
Oh, how my heart yearns to peek beyond that celestial curtain & gaze upon heaven! If I could only find the space where the Veil parts, so I might peer beyond its white drapes.
Amidst my walk through life, I’ve found the thin spots where heaven & earth kiss, & souls pass between: the birth of a child, the last moments of a loved one’s life.
Points where Heavenly Father & Heavenly Mother lovingly welcome Their children back, & where they walk Their children to the Gates of Life.
Does Heavenly Mother weep as She hands Her babe through the Veil into the arms of another? Does Father pray His sweet child will come to know of Him & trust in His loving hand? Do They peer through the Veil hoping Their child will catch a glimpse of Them & remember? Do They anxiously wait in the breaks of the Veil so They may embrace Their child the moment he or she passes through?
This I may not know for certain; yet, my soul knows it to be true ♥️
